A friend had this LP when I was younger.
The sound is what drew me to it, It sounds different right from the getgo.
Pity there is only 1 recording I enjoyed the whole cd including the bvonus track which is track one re worked.

Usually, there are two main reasons people look for this album: 1) the late Mark St. John, who played in Animalize album of Kiss and 2) David Donato, who briefly replaced Ian Gillan (!) in Black Sabbath, in 1984 (yes, the guy, besides taking pictures with Iommi, Butler and Ward, recorded an very early version of The Shining, then titled No Way Out).
After listening to this CD, I would add a third reason: the music. Yeah, there is a bunch of good tunes here, in a pure Led Zeppelin vein, and Rock Warriors and Still Standing Strong shine as two pure gems.
If you think this is just another hair metal band, give this record a chance: St. John is a very able and humble guitar player, providing good rhythm and short solos (here, he isn't so over the top as in Animalize); Donato, on the other hand, although still in search of his own style, is a talented Robert Plant disciple.
