This piece was easy to put together and looks beautiful in the space I have it in. The storage space is perfect and very intuitively made to make everything easily accessible from the bench.
However--If you are over about 5'4" (I'm 5'7) and have a long torso, when you look in the mirror from the bench you will mostly see neck and chin. I fixed this by getting bed-lifters. Not the most seamlessly attractive solution, but it's not hideous, because you can get them in dark wood finishes.

I really like the style and overall appearance of the vanity...the only problem is that the mirror is not functional. I am only 5'5 and i couldn't see any part of my face in the mirror. Bummer...now i have to go buy a mirror to go on top of the vanity when i was hoping to be able to use the vanity right away...Still looks really cute though!
