Sturdy Mirror with Great Magnification December 6, 2009

Overall, I would highly rate this mirror. It has excellent magnification, light is adequate, and the arm to adjust/move the mirror is very strong. The only reason I did not give it 5 star is because the diameter could be a bit larger and it is pricey compare to other models.

This makeup mirror does not have enough light. It only has two 7 watt, dual pin GX23, fluorescent bulbs, one on each side. This 7 watt fluorescent bulb is equivalent to about a 25 watt incandescent bulb. I needed this makeup mirror to tweeze hairs, and there is not enough light to see them clearly. The distributor only has an email address, no phone number or chat. I would avoid this mirror like the plague. Go for one with more light, definitely.

The 10x mirror is ok until you turn on the light. The light is angled wrong and when turned on you can't see in the 10x side. Don't spend the money.

the product is great and works as described; i like especially the solid construction: no wabbling etc. the mrror itself is somewhat bulky ie i think it would have been great to know the thickness (almost 2") of the mirror up front.
overall comment: would buy again, recommended
