 Love the heat, but no replacement parts April 8, 2010

We have owned this model for 5 years and there is nothing quite like having a warm towel when you get out of the shower. The plastic mounts broke this year and despite several internet searches, a trip to several hardware stores and a call to Warmrails, there are NO replacement mounts. Apparently a new company bought warm rails a few years ago and their parts are NOT compatable with anything over two years old. Bummer. I miss a warm towel enough that I will buy another one, but not sure if it will be this brand.

I ordered our rack with a Christmas gift certificate a year ago and both my husband and I just love it. Our unit is large enough to hang two oversized towels on. In addition to keeping the towels nicely warmed, the rack dries them so they do not mildew, which has been a wonderful bonus. This Christmas, my in-laws got one from us as part of their Christmas gift from us and are really liking theirs also.

This works ok to dry damp towels and sweaters but does not warm towels enough to be of any use when you jump out of the shower. It looks very nice and has drawn a lot of comments from people who tour our new home.

This is our second purchase of this same model towel drying rack. We now have one in each of our bathrooms. Low profile is excellent for a small bathroom. Damp, smelly towels are no longer a problem. Except for plastic mounting brackets, the quality appears good for the cost.
